Glo direct browsing.....

This is to inform all Nigerians that Glo network is on fire. You can browse on your pc with speed of light provided your area has 3g coverage even without any software like your-freedom.
Do the following:
1. Insert your glo sim on your glo or mtn unlocked modem.
2. Create a new profile for connection. (For glo platform) click on tools, options, profile management, New, then under APN, click static and type "glomms", under Authentication leave *99#, username: mms, password: mms
3. Then save and use this new edited profile to connect.
4. When connected, you are almost good to go.
5. configure either explorer or mozilla with 10.100.114.144 and port 3130.

you don't even need freedom. you can browse directly and you are good the surf the net.

Enjoy while it last.

this is how i got around mine.
first, i went to You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.
second, i looked for a highly rated http proxy (80% and above).
third, i configured my cometbird with the said http proxy and viola!!!.

for clarity sake this is the proxy i am using now---216.67.225.131  port---3128.

i unfortunately have not been able to enjoy this glo ish.guys does it have anything to do with the fact that i'm using a new sim? does one need airtime ...any other thing one should know?

yeah! i was told i had to do some provisioning ish on my sim to start browsing.who knows sum'n about this?

seems its blocked...i will release yf on etisalat tomorrow, and iwp on etisalat....let them come and copy to their sites.....
